Parliamentary panel recommends national framework for healthcare public-private partnerships

A parliamentary committee has reportedly endorsed Punjab’s public-private partnership model for subsidised diagnostic services, citing its potential to reduce healthcare costs. It recommended a standardised national framework enabling states to outsource high-cost diagnostic and dialysis services at capped rates, improving affordability and access to quality healthcare.
