CPCB to Act against biomedical waste deep-burial violations across 17 States, UTs

The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has informed the National Green Tribunal that it will take action against States and Union Territories failing to comply with biomedical waste deep-burial requirements. The CPCB has issued communications to concerned authorities, with further enforcement action proposed if compliance is not achieved within eight weeks.
